Designation

At the northern tip of Beaujolais and 15 km from Mâcon, Saint- Amour-Bellevue produces a delightfully named cru. The vineyards are mainly located at 250 m. altitude and are planted in soil composed of granite and siliceous clay, gravel and layers of shale. They produce a charming, elegant, purple, wine.

Winemaking and growing

• Semi-carbonic maceration 12 days • Alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperatures • 100% malolactic fermentation • Exclusively aged in stainless steel vats.
