… MoreOne of the ten crus from Beaujolais, renowned since the 18th century. It is bordered on the north by the Moulin-à-vent, to the south by the Morgon and to the west, the Chiroubles. The vineyard is within the borders of the town of Fleurie, and is sheltered from the western winds by the Beaujolais hills, benefiting from a southeast exposure. It extends to the foot of the Chapelle de la Madone, at 425 m. altitude.
• Semi-carbonic maceration 12 to 15 days • Alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperatures • 100% malolactic fermentation • Exclusively aged in Demi-Muids. (600 liter barrels).
Goes very well with poultry or a typical regional dish, such as the Beaujolais andouillette.
